Breckenridge was founded in 1859 as a mining camp along the banks of the
Blue River. Today Breckenridge is a year-round resort destination. At a
9,600 ft. elevation and with average temperatures (winter-28 degrees
daytime/15 degrees nighttime; summer-70-80 degrees daytime/50 degrees
nighttime) Breckenridge has enough Summer and Winter activities to
please everyone. Breckenridge is known for an abundance of incomparable
shopping, dining, and nightlife. Over 400 boutiques, galleries, bistros,
salons, restaurants, and more offer a variety that is sure to please
everyone.

Breckenridge Ski Resort: America's favorite ski resort, has
five parks and four pipes, and attracts skiers from around the
world.
Beaver Run Resort: This is a full service resort and conference
center. It provides ski-in ski-out access to the Beaver Run Super
Chair lift and the Quicksilver Six. During the summer months,
outdoor enthusiasts will love hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing,
white-water rafting and horseback riding. The Jack Nicklaus designed
Breckenridge Golf Club offers 27 holes of professional play. Outdoor
Music Festivals, parades and a film festival are also among the variety
of summer activities Breckenridge has to offer.
Keystone Resort: Keystone Is Colorado's largest night park.
The park tripled in size, moved to a new location under lights
and added a quarter of a milllion dollars of improvements last season.
Copper Mountain Ski Resort: Copper Mountain is the biggest and least
crowded mountain resort area in Summit County, Colorado. With its
naturally divided ski terrain that separates skiers by ability across
the mountain.
Aspen Ski Resort: Aspen is considered by many to be an idyllic
family vacation destination with 95% of its accommodations
ski-in/ski-out. It has a unique signature feature, the Big Burn. This
area, on a gentle, intermediate slope, is a mile and a half long and a
mile wide. Big Burn is one of the most popular sections of the mountain.
With two half pipes and three terrain parks, snowboarders call Snowmass
radical.
Steamboat Springs: Steamboat is actually a complete mountain
range. The skiing is spread out over five mountains with great names as
well as great snow - Storm Peak, Thunderhead Peak, Christie, Sunshine,
and Mount Werner. More than 40 skiers from Steamboat have joined U.S.
Olympic teams. They include Olympic medallist and world champion Billy
Kidd, who runs the Center for Performance Skiing at the resort.
Telluride Ski Resort: Telluride’s Surge Air Garden Terrain
Park is the largest park in the Southwest, offering over 13 acres of
terrain. made up of berms, banks, jumps, and tabletops, as well as a
12-foot competition-size halfpipe. Plus, launching pads are spread
throughout, making Telluride a rider's paradise.
Crested Butte Ski Resort: Crested Butte has attained worldwide
recognition for sporting some of the best Extreme Skiing terrain in the
nation.
